After appealing to the need of having new functions in the instant messaging application, as thus they are scams related to WhatsApp or download WhatsApp Gold video users, now cybercriminals use pure gluttony to promote another scam in WhatsApp: discount coupons for Burger King.
And it is that a false campaign is expanding as the foam in the messaging application offering discount coupons at Burger King to all users who share a survey of four questions related to the brand among ten contacts. As many of you will be already guessing, after sharing the content or discounts will be accepted and we will be putting at risk our device.
Although it may seem quite clear that it is a scam, do not leave there is a large group of users who tend to “bite” into these hooks with which criminals aim to do with our private data hosted on our smartphone. Such is the danger of this scam that from the official Twitter of the national police are alerted of this new scam on WhatsApp.

This new scam on WhatsApp began to reproduce beyond the Atlantic Ocean last week, but has not taken too in crossing the borders and to appear on the first devices within the national territory.
WhatsApp, nest of scams
As we say, is not the first scam that appears in the instant messaging application, because that carries the weight of being the most downloaded application of all time after if the view of thousands of cyber criminals who want to take advantage of its success to get the widest possible private data of innocent users of the application.
Last week we used other WhatsApp scam claiming to add dozens of new features to the original application, transforming the app into WhatsApp Gold. Who receive the message encouraging to download the update (which leads to a web page of more than dubious origin) must download it immediately and ignoarlo, in the same way that should ignore the message that promises of Burger King coupons.
