In our comparison of today are going to review the technical specifications of the last two phablets of range mean that have seen the light: the Xperia XA Ultra, where what stands out most is its large screen, and the Moto G4 Plus, where raw material primarily the quality/price ratio. It is a particularly intriguing matchup, in addition, because while Sony and Motorola have emphasized in different sections, we have two of the most promising devices. With which of the two you quedaríais you?
Design
Not only are there important aesthetic differences between these two phablets (straight lines and clean front for the Xperia XA Ultra and smooth lines in the Moto G4 Plus), but there are also more objective differences with regard to materials, since the Sony phablet can boast of metal casing. In what are at the same time is that both have a fingerprint reader.
Dimensions
The Xperia XA Ultra is a quite larger than the Moto G4 Plus (16.42 x 7.94 cm front 15.3 x 7.66 cm), but can hardly surprising taking into account the difference in size of their screens, that we will see in the next section. The difference in weight, for the same reason, is equally forceful (155 grams against 202 grams). Surprisingly, on the other hand, the Sony phablet has lead in (8.4 mm compared with 9.8 mm) thickness.

Screen
As we have been progressing in the previous section, what is striking when comparing these two phablets screen is simply the difference in size, which is half-inch (6-inch front 5.5 inch). This makes, while its resolution is the same (1920 x 1080), the density of pixels in the Moto G4 Plus higher (367-PPI front 401 PPI).
Performance
In the section on performance the balance leans on the side of the Sonyphablet: on the one hand, the Xperia XA Ultra mounted a processor of Mediatek, eight cores and with a frequency of 2 GHz and has 3 GB of RAM; on the other hand, the Moto G4 Plus mounted a processor of Qualcomm of eight-core but with a frequency of 1.5 GHz , and although there is a model of 3 GB of RAM, the standard comes with 2 GB.
Storage capacity
In the section on storage capacity we are not with any remarkable difference, since both conform to what is usual in the mid-range, at least for the standard models: 16 GB of internal memory expandable via micro-SD.

Cameras
Moto G4 Plus leaves us a couple of very interesting cameras for a device range average, with 16 MP in the rear and 5 MP on the front. While they are quite respectable data, they pale in comparison with the the Xperia XA Ultra, which boasts a main 21 MP camera and a camera of selfies that could compete with the traseradel phablet of Motorola, with 16 MP, and, in addition, optical image stabilizer.
Autonomy
Limited as we are, for the moment, to compare the data of battery capacity, the victory would be clear for the Xperia XA Ultra (4000 mAh to 3000 mAh), but it must be kept in mind, that consumption is a factor just as important in the equation of autonomy, and that in this regard it is expected that its 6-inch screen also pass you one major Bill (remains to be seen whether or not this is it enough) (large or as to lose all the advantage that was starting).
Price
Unfortunately, and although we know that it is a key fact when we compare mid-range devices, we don’t know yet how much it will cost us the Xperia XA Ultra when it goes on sale in Spain. What we do know now is that the G4 Plus motorcycle will be sold by a starting from 270 euros, what can give us a point of reference to think how much more would be willing to pay for the other.
