Little more than one month ago we compared Xiaomi Mi 5, the most sought-after Chinese smartphone of the moment as they prove their stock issues, which now seem to come to an end, with the Zuk Z2 Pro, the current flagship of the “brand” of Lenovo. Now following the introduction of its new model, the Z2 Zuk (to dry) repeat the process.
Design and display
Xiaomi Mi5 bezels are very thin and, in a clear evolution with respect to previous terminals of the range, presenting a more sleek design with rounded edges and giving you a much more modern look. within the body we find a display of 5.15 inches FullHD resolution, being one of the points where Lenovo and Xiaomi presented more matches.
The new Zuk Z2 features a design more than similar to the terminal of Lenovo we met a few weeks ago, and which in turn presents a few lines that resemble Xiaomi Mi 5 and even Xiaomi Mi 4. It offers a slightly lower screen that his older brother, reaching 5 inches, but showing identical resolution, i.e. 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Hardware and performance
While comparing with the Zuk Z2 Pro Xiaomi Mi 5 we pointed out that the hardware was the field where both terminals, most differed to reach the same paragraph in this comparison with the Zuk Z2 we have few differences.
Xiaomi Mi 5 both Zuk Z2 mounted the same processor, a CPU Snapdragon 820, and although Xiaomi phone is available in versions with 3GB and 4GB of RAM, the new smartphone Zuk also reaches the 4 GB of RAM. In regards to storage, Xiaomi smartphone features with 32, 64 and 128 GB options, while the Zuk Z2 reaches 64 GB expandable with MicroSD card.
Multimedia
The multimedia section of Xiaomi team presents a 13 megapixel sensor on the back and presumed incorporate an improved OIS that allows to record all kinds of videos without just vibration. In regards to the front camera, will reach the 4 megapixel camera with double pixel size. They end up completing the device a 3000mAh battery, and MIUI 7 on Android 6.0 customization layer Marshmallow.
The camera reaches the 13 mpx, with an opening f/2.2 and an autofocus dual while the front is up to 5 mpx with wide angle lens. Both Chinese smartphones that we present in the comparison are more than similar in its characteristics, although perhaps the Zuk Z2 is victorious in the multimedia section and in the ability to give it battery. It also does so in terms of price because we must remember that Xiaomi Mi 5 has an official price who travels from 330 euros to the 440 depending on the model chosen, while the Zuk Z2 has a starting price of 250 euros.
