Unicode Consortium, the body that controls and approves the universal rules of software for letters and other characters, has approved 72 new emoji to be released this month of June. New images, which will add to the more than 1,500 existing emojis, feature a series of very requested traditional symbols such as the paella, which thus would be part of the emojis to WhatsApp.
The majority of these new emojis to WhatsApp continue largely the same issues that are already present among the emojis current most popular, i.e., different facial expressions, gestural symbols, new images of animals (notably Fox or gorilla), and how could it be otherwise, new foods.
Here are the complete list with the new emojis to WhatsApp that will arrive in the coming days which include clown, the long-desired “facepalm” emoji, cowboy, the liar, the imbolo cross the fingers, the crash fist and many more…
Coinciding with the celebration of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, also we will receive new emojis high sports component such as new styles of medals and images representing more Olympic, such as water polo, rhythmic gymnastics, handball, fencing or hockey disciplines.
Although all these emojis these will be adopted by Unicode in June, Smartphone users will have to wait for an update from the manufacturer in order to enjoy all these 72 new emojis to WhatsApp. It is more than likely that these new symbols can be inserted with 10 iOS and Android N, which is expected by year’s end.
Among the new emojis paella for WhastApp
This month we already announced that the paella would be part of the new emojis to WhatsApp. “Shallow Pan Of Food” is the name that will describe the paella in Unicode after beating among 40 Finalists icons system. In this way the paella becomes the latest example of the popular culture of our country that may be used in the instant messaging application, after the flag and the famous “Flemish” of the WhatsApp.
After these new 72 emojis, it is likely that we do not see new icons until next year, so if you miss one will have to wait a few months to first join the Unicode system and, subsequently, reach your operating system when each manufacturer deems appropriate.
